What I love about touring is
Working in in all of these wonderful places, and then really appreciating
home when you eventually get there
My best loved drink is
A nice cup of tea. (Preferably PG Tips)
My best loved food is
Anything that stands still long enough for me to eat it
Best loved book
Anything by Terry Pratchet (particularly Mort).
Best loved movie

A tricky one this one, it would be a toss up between Mystery Men, Amilie, The Shawshank Redemption, of Mice and Men and Seven.
PLEASE DON’T ASK ME TO CHOOSE

Music I love:
Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Stina Nordenstam, Gerry Mulligan and Pink Floyd
(the Roger Waters days!!)
I am part of the Pickets because
I’ve sung many styles of music in my career, but I have never done a’cappella.
I love the idea of being that musically exposed. I shows whether you can
really do it or not because there is nowhere to hide
My main hobby is
Classic Car Rallying. We are currently running a 1964 Volvo Amazon and are competing in the HRCR national rally champio.......zzzzzzzzzz
(Yes I can get REALLY boring about it.)
Apart from being a Picket I also
do sessions for other people and adverts and the like. I direct theatre
shows. I have my own recording studio where we specialise in spoken word. I also run a 1964 Volvo Amazon. We won our class in our first season
of......zzzzzzzzz(I warned you!)
Best Flying Pickets moment
The first time I sang with them. It was a lovely feeling to find somewhere you feel comfortable
Favourite city
Tokyo. Huge, modern but incredibly safe and friendly
Ideal fantasy woman
My partner. Honestly, she’s everything I ever wanted in a woman and so much more
When I grow up I want to be
Younger
In my previous life I was
A walrus. I have maintained some of the characteristics. On land I’m awkward and ungainly, but in the water I am graceful and sleek.
I joined the Pickets on
January 2004
